HPLC grade Acetone and Meta is manufactured by oxidation and reduction reaction to remove all UV absorbing impurities from Acetonitrile. Small particles which are more than 0.2 micron are removed by filtering through a 0.2 micro filter.
HPLC grade Acetonitrile and Methanol give UV transmittance at 200 nm more than 95% and above 200nm the transmittance is more than 97%. Water content is controlled to less than 0.05 %. The purity is controlled to more than 99.8%.
